Thelonious Monk's 100th Birthday Celebration
On Tuesday, October 10th, 2017, the T.S. Monk Sextet opened Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola at Lincoln Center, in celebration of Thelonious Monk’s centennial birthday. For two consecutive evenings, music lovers and Jazz enthusiasts alike, experienced T.S.’s interpretation of Monk classics, such as ‘Round Midnight’ and ‘In Walked Bud’.
